Story behind this set: This month we celebrate 2 years of Melisa Mendini – World. The project started 3.25 years ago and brought both nice experiences and obstacles. About a year ago we celebrated our first year with our first real shooting trip abroad to Lanzarote. Unfortunately there were some communication, opinion and trust issues with Frank, the photographer with who I started this project which forced me to stop the cooperation with him and take over the website with David in August 2016. We don’t have access to the sets except a few videos David made there (Walking Home and Fire Place). Before the website was launched, Frank and I had been shooting content for a bit over a year to have enough photo and video sets to start. When David and I took over, we had just a few sets from the past as we didn’t plan or expected this situation at all. Our schedule was already overfilled for that period and now we suddenly had to start creating new content immediately to be able to keep the website running. At the beginning, we were unable to make videos on top of the sets the way we wanted due to time limitations.   On top of that, we had to start from 0 with our 2017 calendar at the time when the calendar should have been ready for production. Thanks to the ongoing support of our dear members, we found the motivation and power to go for it. We made a lot of new content for the next months and keep on doing that of course. From now on we also work on a new video update every week. During the last months we have been working on some other improvements for the site, a very challenging and steep learning curve which asked all of our patience at some moments but we hope to be able to show it to you soon. One of the changes will be the choice of different membership tiers. One tier will be the same as what everyone has now, another tier will get access to more naughty stuff including toys (remember the poll? ? ). My new (real) shop is also nearly ready to be launched and just needs some last testing and fine tuning in the back-end.
