Story behind this set: This set is made a year ago in Gran Canaria. I love working out but with a lot of traveling and driving around for shoots, there is not so much time for it as I would want (and need). So that day we tried to combine it, shooting while working out. It wasn’t a full workout as I would normally do because there wasn’t enough space for it. We planned to do it on the terrace of our hotel apartment but of course, the woman staying above us, was sitting on her terrace above us all day. The building was designed so every terrace had an open space with sun, but this also meant that the terrace above us, could see all what we were doing. Forcing me to stay close to the window. There was a cover we could put over the terrace but it had a warm yellow / orange colour so it gave very warm, oversaturated skin tones which are not so nice on photo and video so we used it as little as possible. David was still shooting with his Nikon camera in that time, which also wasn’t the best for video at all. Parts of the video had to be cut away because I was looking around too obvious to see nobody could see us. There were families with kids too so we didn’t want to attract unnecessary attention and create problems. Once we have a good place for it, we will make a full workout photo and video set.
